Role Title: Designer Role Type: Contractor Location: Remote (US Based) micro1 is engaging Designers to contribute to a customer's project focused on elevating visual and user experience standards. In this role, you'll apply your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input. No prior experience in AI is required — your domain knowledge is what matters. Scope of Work • Design visually compelling graphics, layouts, and interfaces that align with project objectives and user needs. • Create and refine UI/UX wireframes, prototypes, and design systems using Figma. • Apply advanced typography principles to enhance readability and brand consistency. • Review, analyze, and provide feedback on design iterations with precision and clarity. • Document design processes and articulate design decisions in both written and verbal formats. • Contribute authentic, real-world insights on user interaction and usability best practices. • Collaborate efficiently in a remote environment, submitting deliverables according to project milestones. Preferred

REQUIREMENTS

▸5+ years of professional experience in Graphic or UI/UX Design, with a strong portfolio demonstrating impact.
▸Expert-level proficiency in Figma and contemporary design tools.
▸Deep understanding of typography, color theory, and layout design for digital products.
▸Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on clarity and detail.
▸Demonstrated ability to deliver constructive feedback and iterate on complex design challenges.
▸Self-motivated contributor who thrives in autonomous, remote project settings.
▸Familiarity with accessibility standards and inclusive design principles is a plus.
