Role Title: Litigation Attorney (US) Role Type: Contractor Location: Remote - United States. micro1 is engaging Litigation Attorneys to contribute their expertise to a cutting-edge project involving real-world litigation drafting for an advanced AI evaluation initiative. In this role, you'll apply your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input. No prior experience in AI is required — your domain knowledge is what matters. You will craft litigation work product across commercial disputes, operating under the direction of senior legal professionals and with emphasis on practical, deliverable-quality output. This opportunity is ideal for litigation practitioners who thrive in producing meticulous, partner-ready drafts while navigating evolving case theory and dynamic fact patterns. Scope of Work • Draft litigation work product turn-by-turn, including motions, briefs, demand letters, and discovery documents as assigned. • Develop and maintain coherent case theory and posture throughout the dispute lifecycle in response to simulated opposing counsel moves. • Incorporate detailed senior feedback with minimal need for redirection, iterating on drafts in line with project requirements. • Create rubric items alongside each submission, clearly outlining the hallmarks of a robust legal response. • Identify and flag procedural ambiguities, missing facts, or substantive issues for escalation to project leads. • Follow direction from senior attorneys for each drafting turn, mirroring real-world mentor-mentee collaboration in complex litigation practice. • Deliver work that demonstrates fluency in legal drafting, tailored to commercial contract, shareholder/LLC, or real estate litigation contexts. REQUIREMENTS

  • Active or lapsed bar admission in at least one US jurisdiction, with a Juris Doctor degree.
  • A minimum of 3 years of post-JD litigation experience, including hands-on drafting, discovery, and motion practice.
  • Demonstrated ability to draft effective litigation documents in commercial contract, shareholder/LLC, or commercial real estate disputes.
  • Expertise in legal writing with native-level command of English and mastery of legal register.
  • Experience working efficiently to prescribed specifications and integrating feedback promptly.
  • Background in a law firm environment (BigLaw, boutique, or mid-market firm) preferred.
  • Experience with multiple matter types in the listed practice areas, AI model training or evaluation, or federal court practice, is a plus.
