Role Title: Tax Attorney Role Type: Contractor Location: Remote, US-based only micro1 is seeking experienced Tax Attorneys to contribute to a project focused on improving AI systems' legal reasoning and accuracy. You will review legal scenarios, evaluate AI-generated legal work, and provide expert feedback to help train advanced AI models. Scope of Work • Analyze tax law scenarios to identify key legal issues, assess risks, and apply sound legal judgment. • Review AI-generated legal analyses, arguments, and documents for accuracy and completeness. • Identify legal errors, missing information, and weaknesses in legal reasoning. • Provide clear, structured feedback and corrections to improve AI-generated outputs. Required

REQUIREMENTS

▸J.D. degree from a U.S. law school.
▸Active bar license in at least one U.S. state or the District of Columbia.
▸More than 3 years of substantive legal practice, preferably in tax law.
▸Strong legal reasoning, issue-spotting, and document review skills.
▸Excellent written English communication and attention to detail.
▸Preferred: Experience with federal or state taxation, tax compliance, tax planning, IRS matters, tax disputes, or complex tax transactions. An LL.M. in Taxation is a plus.
