Role Title: Tamil Transcription Expert Role Type: Contractor Location: Remote micro1 is engaging Tamil Transcription Experts to contribute to a unique customer project focused on linguistic accuracy and digital content enrichment. In this role, you'll apply your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input. No prior experience in AI is required — your domain knowledge is what matters. Scope of work: • Listen to and accurately transcribe audio content in Tamil, ensuring precise representation of spoken language. • Review, proofread, and edit transcriptions for consistency, grammar, and adherence to project guidelines. • Annotate linguistic features or nuances in audio data as requested by project specifications. • Identify and flag unclear audio or discrepancies for further review, maintaining high-quality standards. • Collaborate with project coordinators, providing feedback or clarifications in both written and verbal formats. • Complete defined transcription assignments within agreed-upon deadlines, adapting to evolving project needs. REQUIREMENTS

▸Native or near-native proficiency in Tamil, with strong comprehension of diverse dialects and accents.
▸Demonstrated experience in transcription or linguistic annotation, preferably in digital projects.
▸Exceptional attention to detail with proven ability to maintain accuracy under time constraints.
▸Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Tamil and English.
▸Familiarity with standard transcription software and digital collaboration tools.
▸Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments efficiently in a remote setting.
▸Passion for language, linguistics, and contributing to innovative technology solutions.
