Role Title: Robot Whisperer — Skills & Data Role Type: Contractor Location: San Francisco, Cali micro1 is engaging Robot Whisperers — Skills & Data to contribute to a customer's project focused on teaching the next generation of robots real-world dexterity. In this role, you'll apply your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input. No prior experience in AI is required — your domain knowledge is what matters. Scope of Work • Execute precise, repetitive manipulation tasks (e.g., picking up objects, opening containers, performing simple household actions) using handheld devices, following detailed protocols. • Follow step-by-step task instructions exactly, ensuring full consistency and accuracy with each repetition. • Reset and prepare the testing environment between task attempts to maintain data integrity across sessions. • Review and confirm each data recording for completeness and clarity before proceeding. • Identify and promptly flag hardware issues, recording anomalies, or unclear instructions to the project lead for resolution. • Maintain meticulous attention to detail throughout each project phase, ensuring high-quality data collection under repetitive conditions. • Communicate findings and updates clearly in both written and verbal form as required for project documentation and troubleshooting. REQUIREMENTS

▸Exceptional fine motor skills and manual dexterity in hands-on settings.
▸Demonstrated ability to follow complex, detailed instructions with high reliability and consistency.
▸Strong attention to detail, especially when performing repetitive assignments.
▸Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills.
▸Experience with technical, gig, warehouse/operations, gaming, or other hands-on backgrounds—recent graduates are encouraged to express interest.
▸Proven dependability and resilience in high-repetition, task-focused environments.
▸Curiosity about robotics, AI, or human-technology interaction (no formal background required).
