Role Title: Portuguese Transcription Expert Role Type: Contractor Location: Remote micro1 is engaging Portuguese Transcription Experts to contribute to a customer's project focused on audio transcription and AI training. In this role, you'll apply your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input. No prior experience in AI is required — your domain knowledge is what matters. Scope of Work • Transcribe and annotate audio recordings in Portuguese and, when needed, in English with a high level of accuracy. • Listen to and evaluate diverse types of audio samples, including conversational and formal speech, ensuring precise capture of content, context, and speaker nuances. • Review, edit, and validate transcripts for completeness, clarity, and adherence to project guidelines. • Identify and correct errors, inconsistencies, or ambiguities within transcriptions. • Collaborate with project managers and other experts to ensure consistency and quality across deliverables. • Utilize transcription tools and platforms to efficiently process and submit work as specified in project requirements. • Contribute linguistic and cultural insights to improve AI model understanding and performance. REQUIREMENTS

▸Native-level fluency in Portuguese, with strong comprehension skills in both spoken and written language.
▸Demonstrated experience in professional-level audio transcription, preferably with a portfolio of relevant project work.
▸Familiarity with transcription conventions, annotation tools, and best practices for capturing audio data.
▸Keen attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to recognize subtle language or context differences in audio samples.
▸Proficiency in English to manage occasional English audio content and follow project instructions.
▸Previous participation in linguistic data projects or tasks related to AI training data is a plus.
▸Strong organizational skills and commitment to delivering high-quality, timely submissions.
