Role Title: German Language Expert Role Type: Contractor Location: Remote micro1 is engaging German Transcription Experts to contribute to a customer project focused on audio transcription and AI training. In this role, you'll apply your German language expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input. No prior experience in AI is required — your domain knowledge is what matters. Scope of Work • Listen to and accurately transcribe audio content in German, ensuring fidelity to original meaning, tone, and context. • Review and edit transcripts for adherence to linguistic and stylistic guidelines. • Annotate transcripts with relevant metadata, such as speaker identification, timestamps, or context cues as required by project specifications. • Collaborate with project stakeholders to clarify ambiguous content and resolve linguistic uncertainties. • Conduct quality assurance checks on transcriptions, ensuring high standards of accuracy and consistency. • Provide insightful feedback to improve transcription processes and guidelines. • Maintain confidentiality and handle project data securely according to compliance protocols. REQUIREMENTS

▸Native-level fluency in German, with strong comprehension of both spoken and written language.
▸Demonstrable experience in transcription, linguistics, or related language-focused work.
▸Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
▸Proficiency in using audio playback and transcription tools, as well as standard office software.
▸Ability to interpret and apply project guidelines precisely.
▸Familiarity with linguistic annotation and metadata practices is a plus.
▸Strong organizational skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving in remote settings.
