All application steps are reused whenever another role requires the same step, so you never have to upload your resume or take the same interview twice Mercor is recruiting Economics Research Experts for a research project with a leading foundational model AI lab. Have at least 1 year of experience working at top institutions in economics research (e.g. World Bank, IMF, Fed, Graduate Schools) about the role: You must be able to commit at least 10 hours per week for this role This is a minimum four week engagement Successful contributions increase the odds that you are selected on future projects with Mercor We consider all qualified applicants without regard to legally protected characteristics and provide reasonable accommodations upon request. Contract and Payment Terms You will be engaged as an independent contractor. This is a fully remote role that can be completed on your own schedule. Projects can be extended, shortened, or concluded early depending on needs and performance. Your work at Mercor will not involve access to confidential or proprietary information from any employer, client, or institution. Payments are weekly on Stripe or Wise based on services rendered.
