DESCRIPTION

Role Title: DaVinci Resolve Editor / Colorist Role Type: Contractor Location: Remote micro1 is engaging DaVinci Resolve Editor / Colorists to contribute their domain expertise to a unique customer project focused on AI training in the realm of video data annotation. In this role, you'll apply your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input. No prior experience in AI is required — your domain knowledge is what matters. This opportunity is ideal for entry-level or mid-level professionals eager to leverage their audiovisual editing, color grading, and video processing skills in an innovative context that goes beyond traditional post-production. Scope of Work • Perform video data annotation using DaVinci Resolve, following detailed project guidelines to ensure accuracy and consistency. • Apply your knowledge of color correction and grading to evaluate and interpret various footage characteristics. • Review, label, and comment on video clips to provide structured data for AI model training. • Assess audiovisual content for quality, clarity, and technical attributes according to specified parameters. • Collaborate remotely with project coordinators and provide feedback on annotation processes and tools. • Document your decision-making approaches and communicate insights to facilitate model improvement. • Adhere to project milestones and submission protocols. REQUIREMENTS

  • Hands-on experience with DaVinci Resolve in a post-production context.
  • Proficiency in video editing, color correction, and grading fundamentals.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an eye for detail and clarity in annotations.
  • Experience working with digital video formats and understanding technical specifications.
  • Interest or background in data annotation or structured labeling (a plus but not required).
  • Ability to work independently, stay organized, and follow complex instructions.
